Update: February 23, 2013

This has been another great week in the Garden!

Thursday, four groups did several projects in the Garden. The Men’s Ministry came out Saturday and cut down trees and removed a lot of debris. The Men have chosen to do an act of ministry at the Transformation Center on the Great Day of Service. They will have heavy equipment to help remove debris from our acreage to the south of the Center and also from around the back of the Center. They did a great job today and we looking forward to them returning on the GDOS.

Our Great Day of Service line up is:

  • Discovery Sunday School Class will do a construction project to be arranged closer to the date
  • Harbor Light Sunday School Class will do construction/maintenance project at one our neighbor’s homes in the Garden.
  • Men’s Ministry will serve God by doing a maintenance project and debris removal from the Transformation Center and adjoining southern field.
  • Another Sunday school class will be putting on a Friendship party, which class to be announced soon

Of course, we will have a lot more days of service where you and your group can serve during the 7 weeks before the GDOS and all the weeks after GDOS. Anytime you or your groups want to do a service project—an act of ministry—call me or text me at 549-2175. We have many groups that are not from Frazer and three of our most loyal weekly volunteers are from other churches. Everyone is welcome!
